1. Introduction

Welcome to NikkahNest. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NikkahNest website and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

NikkahNest is a marketplace platform that connects couples planning Muslim weddings with venues and vendors across the United Kingdom. We operate as an intermediary service, facilitating connections between users and service providers.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and current
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to or use of your account

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and for any actions taken using your account credentials. NikkahNest shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

3. Vendor and Venue Content

Venues and vendors who list their services on NikkahNest ("Listing Partners") are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their listings, including but not limited to:

  • Business descriptions and service offerings
  • Pricing information and availability
  • Photographs and visual content
  • Contact information and response times
  • Halal certifications and religious accommodations
  • Capacity limits and venue specifications

Listing Partners warrant that they have the right to use all content they upload to the Platform and that such content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.

NikkahNest reserves the right to remove or modify any listing content that we believe, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

4. Platform Role and Limitations

NikkahNest operates solely as an intermediary platform that facilitates connections between couples and wedding service providers. We do not:

  • Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any venue or vendor services
  • Verify the accuracy of listings, certifications, or credentials claimed by service providers
  • Act as a party to any contract or agreement between users and service providers
  • Process payments or handle financial transactions between parties
  • Provide refunds or compensation for cancelled bookings or unsatisfactory services

All bookings, contracts, and payments are made directly between users and service providers. Any disputes arising from such arrangements must be resolved directly between the parties involved.

We strongly recommend that users conduct their own due diligence, including visiting venues in person, reviewing contracts carefully, and verifying certifications before making any commitments or payments.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform. Prohibited activities include:

  • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Scraping or collecting user data without permission
  • Using automated systems to access the Platform

6. Intellectual Property

The NikkahNest name, logo, and all related graphics, icons, and service names are trademarks of NikkahNest. All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of NikkahNest or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NikkahNest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses arising from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Platform
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform
  • Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
  • Any issues arising from bookings or services provided by third-party vendors

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
